About the position

We are searching for a dynamic, meticulous and deadline driven individual, to join our team of Human Capital Specialists. Whilst the main purpose of the role is the administration of payrolls, the individual must be willing to get involved in other Human Capital and Administrative functions.

Key responsibilities will include managing payroll software, maintaining employee data, resolving discrepancies, and ultimately to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

The following duties will form part of this role:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions to ensure timely and correct salary payments.
  • Data Management: Maintaining and updating employee records, including hours worked, bank details, and benefits information.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all payroll processes and payments comply with relevant tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigating and resolving payroll issues, such as discrepancies in timesheets or payslips, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Reporting: Preparing and distributing payroll reports to management, providing insights into payroll data and financial information.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with Human Resources and Finance departments to coordinate inputs and ensure the smooth functioning of payroll processes.
  • Software Management: Utilizing and maintaining payroll software to ensure data integrity and efficient processing.
  • Employee Support: Providing excellent customer service to employees by answering their questions about pay, taxes, and other payroll matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying informed about changes in payroll laws and best practices to recommend improvements and ensure best practices are followed.
