Payroll Administrator - Wadeville - R25 000 CTC - R20 000 CTC PLUS INCENTIVE BONUS

About the position

Our Client, a long-standing Company within the Automotive Manufacturing Sector, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to take full ownership of the Payroll function. This role requires a candidate that thrives on accuracy, accountability, and has strong technical payroll expertise.

The Payroll Administrator will manage the entire payroll process from start to finish, including reconciliations, statutory submissions, and third-party payments. You'll work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure compliance and accuracy across all payroll-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Full end-to-end payroll processing for multiple categories of employees (monthly, weekly, or hourly)
• Experience using and reconciling data from biometric time and attendance systems
• Perform detailed payroll reconciliations and balance payroll control accounts
• Prepare and submit all statutory and third-party payments (tax, provident fund, medical aid, garnishees, UIF, etc.)
• Generate payroll reports and liaise with finance for month-end and audit purposes
• Maintain and update employee payroll data in the payroll system
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
• Handle and resolve payroll-related queries promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a dedicated payroll position, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proficiency in SAGE 300 People
