Payroll Administrator

About the position

Job Responsibilities:

• Customer Service - Provide information and handle queries from operations and staff. Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operation by keeping information confidential and exercise extreme discretion.
• Financial Administration - Record and maintain payroll information by collecting and processing data in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. Prepare and submit Month-end payroll reports. Prepare and maintain allocated monthly payroll reconciliations and 3rd party payments.
• Internal Business Processes - Ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Prepare reports and verify details. Check and verify Time & Attendance system. Ensure accuracy of system calculations and processes. Check and verify wage payroll for payment.
• People Management - Managing a payroll clerk to ensure accurate compilation and processing of employee data and hours are achieved on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• National Diploma or equivalent in Finance or Human Resources Management
• 5 years' experience in Payroll Administration
• Experience on Sage 300 People Payroll system
