About the position
Global company based on the East Rand requires an experienced Payroll Administrator for monthly payroll of 600 staff. Individuals who apply MUST have experience with a Bargaining Council Agreement.
Minimum 3-4 years related experience and / or training.
Must have experience running a full payroll system ie. tax, UIF, IRP5's etc
Knowledge of relevant labour laws and tax regulations.
Experience with MEIBC or MiBCO or Road Freight or similar
MUST have worked with a Bargaining Council Agreement
Good knowledge of BCEA
VIP / SAGE experience is preferred
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office products such as :VIP Premier, ESS, ERS, Excel (Advanced), formulas, Pivot tables, V lookup and Outlook
OWN Transport is essential

Reporting to the Payroll Accountant, process salaries due from the appropriate records covering hours worked, levels of pay, absenteeism, etc.
Ensure the appropriate deductions for tax, pension, medical aid, etc. records the relevant details on salary system.
Payroll Input:
Capturing employee/payroll data in VIP Premier and maintaining accurate records for 600 employees
Meeting deadlines.
Ad hoc administration on the MySuccess system.
Timesheets: Administer monthly timesheets.
ERS: Management and maintenance of the Time and Attendance system (ERS). Administering employee absences and short time. Auditing smoking times/duration and relevant escalation of non-adherence to the Smoking and T&A Policy.
ESS: Administering employees leave (annual, sick, FRL, study, unpaid)
General Office Administration
Payroll Input
Monthly payroll data capture onto VIP.
Record-keeping
General office administration including archiving and filing.
Preparation of ad hoc reports as required.
Timesheets
Liaising with divisions, timesheet deadlines etc.
Administration and management of timesheets.
Capture labour summaries.
ERS
Full function control of the ERS Time and Attendance system.
Assist in setting up, monitoring and submitting schedules on banking of hours.
Monitor and control any / all time and attendance matter for head office and branches.
Auditing the smoking regulations.
ESS
Approving annual leave, sick leave, family responsibility leave etc
Verifying sick notes
Verifying doctor’s practice registration numbers
Canteen System
Maintaining the canteen system
Adding new employees
Removing terminated profiles
Amending canteen limits
Resetting monthly canteen limits
