Payroll Administrator at Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd

About the position

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a Payroll Administrator based at the client in Good wood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll, new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
  
• Manage retirement annuity, medical aid, and leave allocations.
  
• Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, and SARS requirements.
  
• Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Maintain employee records (physical & digital).
  
• Prepare payroll reports, tax submissions (EMP501, EMP201), and audit documentation.
  
• Draft employment-related documents (contracts, letters, terminations).
  
• Handle UIF and tax directives for terminations and maternity leave.
  
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to meet deadlines.
  
• Stay updated on industry regulations and payroll best practices.
  
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  

Requirements

Experience in payroll administration with knowledge of SAGE 300.

Strong understanding of payroll legislation and HR policies.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
