Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification
• 3+ year's payroll and accounting experience (SAGE People 300 - full payroll function of at least 1500 staff)

Overview of position

The successful candidate will report to the Payroll Financial Manager and be responsible for assisting with the monthly preparation and processing of payroll for the group as well as assisting with processing financial transactions.

• Verify and process timesheets and attendance records.
• Ensure accurate tax deductions, pension contributions and statutory payments.
• Reconciling payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate payroll reports for management.
• Month end closing.
• Processing creditors invoices.
• Creditor account reconciliations.
• Debtors reconciliations.
• Collection on overdue accounts.
• Debtors reconciliations.
• Company credit card reconciliations.
• General journals i.e. depreciation, provisions, interest, salaries etc.

Salary Bracket
Negotiable, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
