About the position

Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their mining company based in the Free State. You will be responsible for the accurate and compliant execution of end-to-end payroll processes within an operational environment, including payroll processing, validation, reconciliations, compliance and payroll queries.

Responsibilities:

• Complete payroll processing, including capturing, validation, reconciliation and payroll queries.
• Utilise the Sage 300 People system effectively.
• Ensure payroll transactions are correctly interpreted, validated and processed.
• Investigate and resolve payroll exceptions before payroll finalisation.
• Manage UIF requirements.
• Support IRP5 processes by exporting relevant reports from the payroll system.
• Complete monthly EMP201 validation.
  
• Capture and reconcile benefit information and prepare pay files for Finance.
• Process benefit data through Sage 300 People and various service providers.
• Ensure third-party reconciliations are completed accurately.
• Respond to payroll queries within agreed turnaround times.
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll matters effectively.
• Manage escalations appropriately.
• Work with highly complex payroll involving multiple sites, custom pay rules, shifts and reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in HR/Payroll or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Payroll within an engineering and/or mining environment
• Proven experience on Sage 300 People
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Valid Driver's License

Benefits:

• Salary: R300K - R420K P/A
