Payroll & HR Administrator (EE)
Area: Milnerton, Cape Town
Salary: R25 000 - R30 000 p/m + Medical Aid + Pension Fund
Purpose of the Role
An established company seeks an experienced Payroll & HR Administrator to manage payroll processing, HR administration, employee records, time & attendance, leave administration, and employee benefits. The role requires strong payroll expertise, compliance knowledge, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Full monthly payroll processing on Premier VIP, including payroll input, reconciliations, submissions, and payroll queries
- Manage time & attendance, leave administration, absenteeism reporting, and Eco-Time monitoring
- HR administration including onboarding, employee records, terminations, and employee benefits administration (Medical Aid & Pension Fund)
- Maintain payroll and HR compliance, including PAYE, IRP5 submissions, and third-party reconciliations
- Prepare payroll and HR reports for budgeting, Employment Equity, BBBEE, and year-end requirements
- Support employee engagement, HR coordination, diary management, and general HR administration
- Administer employee savings/loan processes and related reconciliations
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years' payroll processing experience, including labour law compliance
- Minimum 1 year HR administration experience
- Premier VIP experience is essential (non-negotiable)
- Working knowledge of ESS, PAYE, and Eco-Time systems
- Experience with Pension Funds, Medical Aid administration, and payroll reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, mail merge)
- Payroll, HR, Finance, or related qualification advantageous
