About the position
Are you detail-oriented with a knack for numbers and accuracy? We’re looking for a Payments Clerk to join our Finance team in Cape Town.
Location: Cape Town
Department: Finance
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading daily payments onto the AJS system.
- Ensuring accuracy and confidentiality when processing financial information.
- Managing work volumes effectively while maintaining high service delivery standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role (banking experience would be advantageous).
- Systems Knowledge: Proficient in AJS, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and file directory systems.
- Skills & Qualities:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
- Positive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric qualification.
- Relevant work experience (advantageous).
- Strong computer literacy.
