Our client is a well-established company in the clothing supply sector, providing high-quality garments to leading national retail chains. With a strong footprint in ladies' and children's wear, the company continues to expand its product offering and client base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate patterns for a variety of garments, working from initial design specifications through to production-ready outputs. This role requires both manual and/or digital pattern-making skills, with a focus on ensuring designs are technically sound and production-friendly.
Key Responsibilities

• Create patterns for ladies’ and kiddies’ garments from basic to complex designs
• Interpret design specifications and translate them into accurate patterns
• Simplify complex designs to suit production capabilities
• Ensure patterns meet sizing, fit, and construction requirements
• Liaise with designers and production teams to ensure alignment
• Conduct fittings and adjust patterns accordingly
• Maintain pattern library and documentation
• Ensure quality control of patterns throughout the process
• Operate both manual and digital tools, including Lectra systems
• Work with sample rooms and cutters to ensure accurate garment construction
• Resolve technical issues during development and production phases
• Keep up-to-date with pattern-making best practices and technologies
• Assist in training or guiding junior staff if required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pattern making (manual and/or digital)
• Relevant qualification in Fashion Design or Pattern Making
• Proven experience in ladies’ and kiddies’ wear
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed specifications
• Proficiency in Lectra pattern-making software
