A well-established company based in the East Rand is seeking a Parts Sales Supervisor from automotive or earthmoving industry
Role Summary :
Oversee parts sales within the Parts Department and ensures that all stipulated policies are adhered to. Plays a vital role in ensuring that all operational activity is carried out efficiently and effectively. Key focus areas being team development, growing our market share, service excellence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Required)
- Minimum of 7–9 years’ relevant experience in parts sales, preferably within manufacturing, mining, or related industries
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of parts sales processes, quotations, and customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience working on ERP systems
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Higher Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management (Advantageous)
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise and manage the parts sales team, ensuring efficient and effective daily operations
- Drive sales performance, including improving fill rates and quotation conversion rates
- Manage and monitor Work in Progress and ensure compliance with KPI targets
- Oversee customer queries and relationships, ensuring a high level of service excellence
- Control and follow up on parts quotations, analysing lost sales and identifying improvement opportunities
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and ensure compliance
- Train, coach and guide team members to improve performance and productivity
- Assist in identifying market opportunities to grow market share and strengthen customer loyalty
