A new to the industry aspiring financial adviser will receive access to The Old Mutual Personal Financial Adviser Academy. This offers a comprehensive 24-month development and structured learning programme; inclusive of on-the-job coaching and training (observations, role-plays, simulations and co-attendance), with relevant customer facing experience and adherence to fit and proper requirements and performance standards.

Your Mission

• Help South Africans achieve financial independence by delivering holistic financial advice and tailored investment solutions.
• Generate and manage your own leads through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
• Conduct financial needs analyses and develop bespoke financial plans using a proven 6-step financial planning process.
• Provide expert guidance across life insurance, retirement planning, savings, and investment portfolios.
• Maintain long-term client relationships through regular portfolio reviews and lifetime financial planning.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 3+ years' work experience (Sales, Customer Service, or similar preferred)
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable car
• Clear credit and criminal record
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High levels of resilience, drive, and accountability
• Willing to complete our Academy programme and study toward FAIS regulatory compliance and achieve relevant certifications
