As a Paraplanner, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting a financial planning practice. From conducting thorough financial needs analyses to proposing investment strategies tailored to the client's needs, you'll work closely with the Financial Planners to ensure clients receive top-notch service and advice. You'll enjoy a blend of administrative tasks and client interactions, all within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
You'll be joining an esteemed independent financial planning practice, based in professional offices in the vibrant suburb of Newlands, Cape Town. They have a client-centric approach and undoubtable commitment to excellence which has earned them a reputation for delivering exceptional service and results. With a focus on continuous learning and development, they have mastered what they do and how they do it to ensure their clients get only the best possible service and results.
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in an admin support/Paraplanner role working for an independent brokerage. You also need to have a completed tertiary degree, ideally with a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, or progressing towards achieving it. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Elite Wealth are essential. Candidates on track to complete their Certified Financial Planner® designation will be given preference. Additionally, a client-centric mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong ethical compass are crucial for success in this role.
