Pallet Controller

About the position

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CHEP Pallet Administrator to join their team at the Mobeni site. This role is critical in ensuring efficient pallet management, cost control, and smooth operations across our national customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor pallet movements internally and externally, ensuring accuracy in the CHEP account
• Capture and reconcile daily pallet transactions with customers and depots
• Conduct biweekly stock takes, including 3rd party warehouses, and present reconciliations to management
• Liaise with customers to resolve pallet queries, recoveries, and incorrect charges
• Provide regular reports on pallet costs, counts, and outstanding totals by sales representatives
• Collaborate with teammates and the CHEP office to drive efficiency and best practice

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Organisational skills
• Methodical
• Communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Stress tolerance
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to interact across all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to plan ahead, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks
