With your expertise in packaging or printing and your keen eye for plant layout and design, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their production processes. Minimum requirements:

  • Matric.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Project Management experience.
  • FMCG packaging or printing experience is ESSENTIAL.
  • Must understand plant layout and design.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing within an Agile environment. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To support realization of the gate process through the application of project management.
  • Processes, practices and problem-solving expertise and the coordination of cross functional project teams and client stakeholders.
  • To ensure project execution and continuous improvement by providing guidance on project process, standards, and requirements for own and other projects as and when required.
  • To ensure OTIF delivery of agreed projects through engaging, building and maintaining good stakeholder relationships inside and outside the organisation.
  • To ensure effective resource allocation and coordination of the project team through the creation of SOPs and RACI matrixes per project for internal and external resources, 3rd party suppliers and or manufacturers.
  • To ensure accurate project management information reporting and project repository by:
    • Maintaining and improving data on the project. management online system.
    • Ensuring document control.
    • Performing workflow approvals.
    • Timeline creation and adjustments.
    • Training and enablement of project leaders to utilize the system.
    • Performing essential data and knowledge management of the system's data.


  • To assist with the identification and analysis of viable projects for the selected product categories in the Premier portfolio.

  • To support the successful execution of all projects by providing project and program leadership through consultation with stakeholders to:
    • Agree on project relevancy and success indicators to the business strategy.
    • Agree on portfolio priorities in line with agreed financial, capability, scalability, and complexity parameters.
    • Development and implementation governed processes.
    • Creation of functional competencies
    • Managing the portfolio realization by identifying and resolving project hurdles.
    • Tracking and reporting project realization against agreed business cases and success indicators.


  • Lead and manage engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring that all project objectives are met.

  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements.

  • Coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to ensure that project milestones are achieved.

  • Monitor project progress and performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are understood and met.

  • Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Manage project budgets and resources to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
