Job Title: Packaging Manager

Salary: From R35 000 to R45 000 per month (based on qualifications, skills, and experience)

The Opportunity
This role lets you take charge of transforming a busy packing and assembly operation. You will receive strong operational support while implementing new systems and semi-automated workflows. Your leadership will directly help the company deliver quality orders faster to satisfied clients.
Job Description
- Plan and manage daily packaging line schedules to meet on-time dispatch targets.
- Assign warehouse personnel efficiently based on daily order volumes and customer priorities.
- Audit outgoing orders to ensure exact product counts, correct items, and precise labelling.
- Monitor scanner usage to ensure complete system data tracking across all packing stations.
- Conduct floor walkthroughs to keep work areas clean, organized, safe, and efficient.
- Maintain optimal packaging material stock levels to prevent operational delays or line downtime.
- Work closely with receiving, inventory, and dispatch teams to maintain smooth material flow.
What You Need to Apply
- Grade 12 (Matric) with a relevant Warehouse or Supply Chain Certificate or Diploma.
- 5 to 8 years experience in packaging, assembly, or warehouse operations.
- At least 3 years experience managing or supervising operational warehouse teams.
- Proven experience with process improvement, barcode scanning, or packaging automation.
- Good knowledge of inventory controls, 5S principles, and warehouse safety standards.
- Strong practical skills in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management software tools.
