About the position
We are seeking a highly experienced OT Security Architect to strengthen our security architecture capacity, with a specific focus on operational technology (OT) environments across the enterprise. The successful candidate will assist in reducing the backlog of security design reviews for critical systems (“crown jewel systems”) implemented across the Group, ensuring security posture, resilience, and alignment with our cyber security strategy.
This role requires a senior-level professional who is comfortable working within a complex stakeholder landscape that includes Group IT, Group Cyber Security, various vendors, and an outsourced EA function.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, GIAC GICSP, or ISA/IEC 62443 are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in IT and/or OT security architecture.
- Proven experience with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, DCS, IoT/IIoT, and manufacturing systems.
- Strong understanding of cyber risk management, threat modeling, and secure system design.
- Familiarity with IT/OT convergence, and the specific risks and mitigations involved.
- Experience working with outsourced architecture functions and third-party partners (e.g., Accenture).
- Prior experience working in complex, large-scale enterprises with multiple business units and geographic locations.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, MITRE ATT&CK for ICS.
- Knowledge of network segmentation, zero trust architecture, endpoint protection, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and identity access management.
- Proficiency in reviewing and guiding security in solution designs, especially within OT environments.
- Strong vendor engagement skills, able to challenge, validate, and negotiate security outcomes.
