Purpose of the Job: Key Performance Areas (KPAs): Deliver actionable insights that inform operating model shifts, performance improvement, and OD interventions. Operating Model Design & Organisational Architecture Develop and implement fit-for-purpose operating models that align with organisational strategy, service delivery goals, and policy mandates. Support post-implementation stabilisation and performance monitoring following structural changes. Organisational Structure Design, Job Evaluation & Grading Lead the design of organisational structures including departments, roles, and reporting relationships. Work with HR teams to embed evaluation outputs into workforce planning, succession, and recruitment frameworks. Business Process Mapping & Optimisation Map current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) business processes, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Support integration of business processes with new technologies and digital transformation goals. Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement Develop change management strategies tailored to OD interventions, structural shifts, and process re-engineering. Monitor post-change adoption, address resistance points, and realign plans as needed to ensure lasting impact. Culture, Values & Organisational Alignment Design, implement, and analyse culture surveys and diagnoses to assess organisational climate and identify improvement areas. Deliver culture activation workshops, leadership sessions, and team interventions that promote collaboration, accountability, and performance. Talent, Leadership Development & Retention Collaborate with HR and management to build and implement succession plans for critical roles. Advise on reward, recognition, and development initiatives to drive retention and performance. Project Management & Advisory Support Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource tracking tools for OD and change initiatives. This role entails leading OD interventions across diverse client projects, with a focus on operating model formulation, organisational architecture implementation, business process improvement, and culture transformation. The OD Consultant will deliver practical, evidence-based solutions in organisational diagnostics, restructuring, change enablement, staff retention, and strategic workforce planning.
