Our Client is looking for a  Order Processing Clerk to join their team.
Area/Location:  Industria Johannesburg
 
Overview:

A detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with strong organizational skills is needed for the role of Order Processing Clerk. This position plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between customers, the planning department, and the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Liaison: Confirm order details with customers, ensuring references and box specifications are accurate.
• Order Review: Assess and verify incoming orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage all paperwork related to customer orders and provide the necessary information to the planning department for timely manufacturing execution.
• Delivery Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule deliveries and communicate estimated delivery dates and times to customers.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve discrepancies in orders or delivery timelines promptly and professionally.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of orders, communications, and schedules.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order processing.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using order management systems or related software (training will be provided if necessary).
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Previous experience in order processing, logistics, or a similar role is advantageous.
