About the position
Job Specification: Order Picker (with OPUS / CHERRY PICKER(TL) License) Location: Richmond Business Park Department: Warehouse & Logistics
1. Role Purpose
The Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking, scanning, staging, and preparing customer orders within warehouse environment.
An OPUS (Order Picking Unit System) License is essential to operate scanning and automated order-picking equipment.
2. Key Responsibilities
Order Picking & Packing
- Accurately pick customer orders according to pick lists, RF scans, or OPUS system prompts.
- Ensure correct product codes, quantities, and packaging standards.
- Stage and prepare picked orders for dispatch.
- Operate Opus/Cherry Picker safely and efficiently.
Warehouse Operations
- Load and offload stock as required.
- Assist with stock rotation, replenishment, and bin-management tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness in picking zones and follow 5S standards.
Stock Control
- Report stock variances, damages, or discrepancies immediately.
- Participate in stock counts, cycle counts and inventory checks.
- Ensure accurate scanning and updating of stock on the OPUS system.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Comply with Aramex warehouse policies and operational guidelines.
- Report risks, hazards, or unsafe practices to the supervisor promptly.
Team Support & Performance
- Work collaboratively with warehouse coordinators, dispatch teams, and supervisors.
- Meet daily KPIs for picking accuracy, speed, and productivity.
- Support urgent dispatches and priority orders when required.
3. Minimum Requirements
- Valid OPUS / Cherry Picking License (essential).
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as an Order Picker in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle stock safely.
- Clear criminal record.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
