Job Function:
As an Optometrist, your role will focus on providing high-quality eye care services, diagnosing visual impairments, prescribing corrective lenses, and offering guidance on eye health. You will conduct thorough eye examinations, offer recommendations for treatment, and assist patients in managing eye conditions.
Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
• Diagnosing eye conditions such as refractive errors, glaucoma, and cataracts.
• Prescribing glasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
• Educating patients about eye health and preventive care.
• Documenting and reporting patient findings accurately.

What Our Compliance Team Will Need for Registration:

• Confirmation of Registration with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa).
• Relevant Qualification Certificate in Optometry or a related field.
• Professional Indemnity – Certificate of Medical Membership.
• CV with contactable references (uploaded with your online application).
