You're a high-energy, hands-on leader who thrives in complex manufacturing environments. You have the grit and resilience to drive culture change, instil discipline, and build a team that takes ownership. You lead from the front, bringing a strong sense of accountability, problem-solving finesse, and a passion for continuous improvement.
You'll take the reins of a diverse production environment encompassing metal pressing, plastic injection moulding, and assembly operations. From daily operational leadership to embedding lean methodologies like 5S, Kaizen, and SMED, you'll spearhead productivity improvements and waste reduction. You'll drive performance culture by coaching shop floor teams, introducing structured processes, and improving compliance with safety and operational standards. Expect to lead KPI delivery, implement visual management tools, and work cross-functionally to meet customer and business expectations.
You'll be joining a respected, proudly South African manufacturer with over five decades of experience delivering quality mobility solutions. The business is entering an exciting cultural transformation, aiming to become a benchmark for operational excellence in its industry. With a values-driven, people-focused ethos and global ambitions, it's the perfect time to come aboard and make a lasting impact.

You bring a track record of success in high-volume environments such as automotive, plastics, or metals. You're Lean Six Sigma certified (Green Belt or above preferred), experienced with ERP systems (Syspro, SAP, Oracle), and comfortable implementing production dashboards and visual management systems.
A career-defining opportunity to lead transformation, work with a supportive leadership team, and shape the future of a legacy manufacturer. You'll receive a competitive salary, performance-based incentives, and the tools to succeed in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
