About the position
A leading transport and logistics company specialising in abnormal road transport is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, including fleet management, planning, scheduling, routing, and team supervision while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent service delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport operations management
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of cross-border transport operations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to be available after hours when operational issues arise
Experience within the abnormal transport industry, including permits and load configurations, will be advantageous.
