We are urgently seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations Manager to take the helm of our clients Eastern Cape branch. This role calls for a hands-on leader who can oversee day-to-day operations, inspire teams, strengthen client partnerships, and identify opportunities to grow the business. ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Manage all operational contracts, services, and product supply in the Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas.
- Foster positive, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Serve as the designated Health & Safety accountable person for the region.
- Lead and develop a team of managers, supervisors, and technical staff to meet performance targets.
- Ensure smooth project delivery by aligning resources, processes, and quality standards.
- Oversee financial planning, budget control, and expenditure approvals.
- Introduce and maintain effective operational systems and reporting structures.
- Actively explore and secure new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at meetings, inspections, and with industry authorities when required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Degree or diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Water) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Ideally at least 10 years’ professional experience, including 5 years in process plant operations.
- Solid understanding of commercial and contractual requirements.
- Skilled in using Google Workspace and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be a plus.
