Our client, a fast-growing multinational and JSE listed business within the Financial Services environment, is seeking a commercially strong and highly driven Operations Leader / Operations Director to join their Johannesburg team.
This opportunity is suited to a high performing operational professional with strong leadership capability, strategic thinking ability, and experience operating within demanding, fast paced environments.
The business is looking for exceptional professionals with strong academic backgrounds, entrepreneurial flair, and proven leadership ability. Individuals who have built side businesses, led initiatives outside of work, or consistently gone above and beyond in their careers will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize operational performance across business units
- Drive operational strategy, efficiency, and scalability initiatives
- Manage and mentor high performing teams
- Improve systems, processes, reporting, and operational controls
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives
- Ensure delivery excellence across operational functions
- Drive accountability, performance, and execution across teams
- Manage stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
Requirements
- 10+ years’ operational leadership experience
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Experience within consulting, audit, advisory, financial services, or professional services environments advantageous
- Commercially minded with strong strategic thinking ability
- Strong academic track record
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organized with strong execution capability
- Johannesburg based
- Comfortable working primarily from the office
