Job Title: Operations Coordinator – Germiston – Supply chain and logistics
Salary: From R30,000 to R 40,000 negotiable depending on experience.

The Opportunity

This position manages logistics operations for contract clients. You will coordinate operational performance and financial performance. You will work within a project logistics team. Your work helps the division achieve expected business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the operational performance of contract logistics clients across projects.
• Ensure compliance with customs rules and shipping regulations for shipments.
• Follow company safety procedures and meet quality requirements during operations.
• Coordinate freight forwarders to execute specific transport movements for clients.
• Process freight forwarder invoices and manage invoice payments for services.

Required Qualifications

• Hold a Degree or Diploma in Logistics Management.
• Possess seven to ten years of relative logistics experience.

Required Experience

• Demonstrate experience working within the freight forwarding industry for clients.
• Show a background in multimodal operations and supply chain operations.
• Provide a record of managing project logistics operations for businesses.
• Show experience leading the implementation of freight applications in companies.
• Demonstrate expertise in leading freight price negotiation meetings with suppliers.
