About the position
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support our daily operations in the factory and the office. This role primarily involves various tasks to ensure smooth manufacturing, inventory management, and customer service.
Key Tasks:
- Assist with stocktaking of finished goods and materials, including adjustments in the ERP system.
- Support administrative manufacturing processes within the ERP.
- Facilitate invoicing through the ERP system.
- Support procurement of materials for production.
- Assist with purchases of production consumables.
- Prepare product photos for promotional purposes.
- Oversee office supply needs, including grocery, stationery, and other consumable purchases.
- Maintain the company website by updating product information, responding to inquiries, and arranging client deliveries.
- Assist with showroom sales and customer interactions.
- Monitor packaging stock and take care of reordering.
- Answer incoming calls and forwarding calls internally.
Criteria and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Own transport is a plus
Remuneration:
- R12,000 cost to company initial on 3 months' probation period. R15,000 on successful permanent appointment.
