About the position

Are you a strategic risk professional ready to influence decision-making at the highest level?

A leading financial services institution is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to drive and embed a robust Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the organisation. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to executive and board-level stakeholders, where your expertise will directly shape risk strategy and governance.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Enterprise and Operational Risk Management frameworks

  • Drive risk practices across business units, ensuring alignment with strategy and regulatory requirements

  • Oversee risk identification, assessment, and mitigation processes (RCSA, KRIs, incident management)

  • Deliver insightful risk reporting to EXCO and Board committees

  • Facilitate key governance structures, including risk committees and stakeholder forums

  • Provide expert advisory to business units on emerging risks and control improvements

  • Champion a strong risk culture across the organisation

Requirements

Degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related field

5-8 years' experience in enterprise and/or operational risk

Background in risk, audit, or financial services environments

Strong knowledge of:

Enterprise Risk Frameworks

Operational risk tools (RCSA, KRIs, risk registers)

Regulatory environments (e.g. Basel frameworks, governance standards)

Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders

Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
