About the position
- Provide first and second-line support for internal staff, resolving hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
- Manage Windows servers, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file sharing, and Group Policy.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Provide basic to intermediate server administration, backups, and patch management.
- Support and manage Office 365 / Microsoft 365, email systems, and collaboration tools.
- Maintain asset inventory, procurement, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
- Implement and maintain antivirus software, and compliance policies.
- Ensure regular system backups, disaster recovery readiness, and system availability.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including user account setup, access control, and deactivation.
- Liaise with regional teams to standardize IT practices and ensure business continuity.
- Provide documentation and user training as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an IT Support Technician / Infrastructure Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, and server systems).
- Proficient with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic server admin tasks.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and general networking principles.
- Experience with Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Admin, endpoint protection, and backup tools.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP).
- Good understanding of ITIL practices is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work across diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to issues promptly.
Desirable Qualifications:
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA, etc.
- Familiarity with Linux systems is a plus.
- Experience supporting multi-site or regional offices.
