We are seeking Online Home-Based English Tutors who reside anywhere in South Africa on a full-time & part-time basis to join our team by making a difference in global education. Our expanding team is focused on demonstrating our core values which foster continuous learning and development.

The Job:

• Provide guidance while delivering English lessons to adult learners.
• Engage and encourage students in a positive manner.
• Manage a classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency.

Hours:

• We tutor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer a variety of shifts to meet our tutor's needs.

Start Date:

• Immediate upon completion of the recruitment & training process

Remuneration:

• Market-related plus bonuses and incentives

Location:

• Anywhere in South Africa - as this is a home-based online teaching role

Minimum requirements:

• Matric Certificate
• Tertiary education is prefered.
• 120 TEFL/TESOL or willing to obtain one within the first three months of being onboarded
• Great command of the English language (accent neutral)
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly advantageous - Tutoring experience (preferred online English tutoring)

Technical Requirements:

• Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 [Email Address Removed] (4 CPUs) or greater?
• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater?
• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to?4-5 hours?(2000VA at minimum) or willing to purchase before commencing teaching? such as [URL Removed]
• A stable fibre?internet connection?- at a minimum of 10 Mbps upload and download speeds?
• PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection??
• Noise-cancelling?headsets and HD web camera.?
• Back-up headset highly recommended?
• Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment??
