About the position
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse to join a specialised healthcare team in the Western Cape. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing professional to provide high-quality patient care within a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with established clinical standards
- Monitor patient conditions and provide ongoing support throughout treatment journeys
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications safely and effectively
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care requirements
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Current registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar environment
- Experience within a Private Hospital setting
- Post Basic Qualification will be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centred care
