About the position

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an industrial or remote/offshore environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper network devices.
• Familiarity with satellite communication systems (e.g., VSAT, Iridium).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and backup solutions.
• Experience with remote desktop tools and helpdesk ticketing systems.
• Valid BOSIET, HUET, and offshore medical certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Desirable

• Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+/Security+ certification.
• Experience with cybersecurity practices in industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles or similar service management frameworks.
