About the position
Support financial team by assisting with investment research, compliance, new business processing, and general office administration to ensure the effective delivery of client services in a financial advisory and fund management environment.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12) and an Associate's Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services (e.g., fund management, wealth management, stockbroking, life assurance, broker support)
- First Level FSCA Regulatory Exam (RE5)
- FAIS-compliant qualification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Own reliable transport essential
Key Performance Areas:
- Provide administrative support to Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) including processing new business and preparing client reports
- Assist with investment research and compiling suitability recommendations
- Maintain and update client records and documentation
- Support compliance-related tasks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Assist with marketing efforts and internal communication
- Handle fund administration duties and follow-up on investment transactions
- Perform general office management duties including scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, managing correspondence, and client service queries
