About the position

Support financial team by assisting with investment research, compliance, new business processing, and general office administration to ensure the effective delivery of client services in a financial advisory and fund management environment.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12) and an Associate's Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services (e.g., fund management, wealth management, stockbroking, life assurance, broker support)
  • First Level FSCA Regulatory Exam (RE5)
  • FAIS-compliant qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Own reliable transport essential

Key Performance Areas:

  • Provide administrative support to Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) including processing new business and preparing client reports
  • Assist with investment research and compiling suitability recommendations
  • Maintain and update client records and documentation
  • Support compliance-related tasks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Assist with marketing efforts and internal communication
  • Handle fund administration duties and follow-up on investment transactions
  • Perform general office management duties including scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, managing correspondence, and client service queries
