OFFICE-BASED INTERMEDIATE FULL-STACK DEVELOPER, Umgeni Business Park, Durban

Our client is looking for an Intermediate Full-Stack Developer to assist in building and maintaining the platforms that drive their online marketing, digital sales, customer experience, and business intelligence.
This role is central to developing their proprietary Marketing Operating System (OS) and integrating it with third-party tools, enabling them to deliver smarter, more connected digital mobility solutions across Africa.
Founded in 1991 in Durban as a car rental company, the group has grown into Southern Africa’s leading mobility brand, offering short-term car hire, long-term leasing, and vehicle sales and trade solutions through various branches nationwide.
THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–3 years of commercial full-stack development experience (excluding QA/support).
- Strong knowledge of:
- C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Visual Studio.
- Experience building robust, scalable web applications.
- Must be comfortable with being office-based - This role is strictly on-site with normal office hours, Monday to Friday. (This is not a remote or hybrid position.)
WILL ALSO COUNT IN YOUR FAVOUR IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience with Azure deployments and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with GIT, ASP.NET (Core and Traditional), Blazor SPA.
- Exposure to unit testing/TDD and API integrations.
- Experience in mobile app development and code productivity tools like Resharper.
- Experience in UX/UI design principles and tools, such as Figma or Adobe XD, with a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
CRM & MARKETING SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
- Build and enhance internal systems to enable automated customer journeys, smarter segmentation, and targeted communications.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop tools that support lead tracking, customer conversion, and retention efforts across rental and trade operations.
REVENUE & ONLINE MARKETING ENABLEMENT
- Develop features that improve online visibility, SEO, and lead generation from digital platforms.
- Build tools that support campaign deployment, landing pages, and digital ad integrations (e.g., Google, Meta, email tools).
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & RETENTION TOOLS
- Create self-service modules, loyalty enhancements, and service feedback platforms that elevate the customer experience.
- Digitally support hybrid customer journeys across online bookings, in-branch experiences, and post-sale engagement.
DATA & INSIGHT INTEGRATION
- Build backend pipelines and structured databases that monetize our customer and sales data.
- Develop dashboards and reports that help drive pricing, marketing, and strategic decisions.
MARKETING OS DEVELOPMENT & INTEGRATIONS
- Support the build of the companys proprietary Marketing Operating System, designed to centralize campaign execution, reporting, and CRM functions.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party tools such as ad platforms, analytics, email/SMS services, and more.
FULL-STACK DEVELOPMENT
- Execute across front-end and back-end using Microsoft technologies:
- Visual Studio, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, and Azure.
- Maintain clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews, testing, and iterative product development.
