About the position

Well-established company based in Johannesburg South requires an Office Administrator with procurement and stock control experience to join their team!
Experience & Skills Required:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in stock/inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Exposure to financial processes including basic accounting, creditor reconciliations, supplier payments, and applications
  • Procurement and buying experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Sage Evolution is advantageous

Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Control Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report daily stock levels
  • Prevent overstocking and stock shortages
  • Participate in cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Cross-check system records and verify GRVs on automated platforms

Procurement Duties:

  • Source and purchase materials, office supplies, PPE, and related items
  • Maintain supplier relationships and resolve delivery issues
  • Update supplier databases with relevant details and pricing
  • Process and manage purchase orders with proper approvals

Financial Duties:

  • Process supplier/customer invoices and payments
  • Handle account reconciliations, including pay cards and intercompany transactions
  • Understand basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
