Onsite Nutanix Certified Professional Resource
Client: University of Pretoria (UP)
Contract Duration: 5 Years Location: Onsite at UP
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Certified and experienced Nutanix Professional Resource to provide onsite support, administration, optimisation, migration, documentation, and knowledge transfer services for the University of Pretoria’s Nutanix infrastructure and associated Windows and Linux server environments.
2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 General Maintenance (Software Upgrades & Server/Storage Maintenance)
2.2 Provisioning, Installation & Configuration of Virtual Machines (AHV)
2.3 Performance & Monitoring Reports
2.4 Migration of Virtual Machines (VMware ESXi to Nutanix AHV)
2.5 Advanced Troubleshooting
2.6 Architectural & System Documentation Updates
2.7 Knowledge Transfer to UP Server Team
MINIMUM CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The designated resource must provide valid certification proof for:
-Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI)
-VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) (or equivalent)
-Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
-Linux Certification:
