They are seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to manage and grow an existing client base while identifying new revenue opportunities within key accounts.
Role Overview This role is focused on relationship management, account growth, and solution-based selling within a B2B environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong client partnerships, identifying upselling opportunities, and ensuring consistent service delivery across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across solutions
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and client retention
Client Engagement
- Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers
- Conduct regular client meetings, reviews, and performance discussions
- Understand client operations and align solutions to their business needs
Commercial & Sales Execution
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing structures
- Negotiate contracts and close additional business within existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity
- Track performance against targets, forecasts, and budgets
Minimum Requirements - Matric (essential)
- 3+ years' experience in Account Management / Key Accounts / B2B sales
- Experience in solution-based selling (highly advantageous)
- Strong understanding of business operations and cost drivers
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
