About the position
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure (VMware, Cisco, Microsoft Azure).
Support IP/MPLS network planning and architecture across international environments.
Monitor and optimize network performance; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Implement and manage network security protocols to safeguard infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Maintain detailed network documentation and ensure alignment with best practices.
Keep up to date with evolving network technologies and trends.
Core Skills & Knowledge:
Deep expertise in IP/MPLS technologies: MPLS (LDP, RSVP, Segment Routing), BGP, ISIS, OSPF, Ethernet QoS/OAM, L2/L3 VPNs, IP Multicast, PPP, L2TP, IPv6, NFV.
Strong knowledge of network virtualization (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI).
Experience with firewalls, internet peering, MEF services, and network security best practices.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
