About the position

My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a .Net Developer to join their team on a contract basis.

IT / Finance

Skills

• Strong technical skills in .NET technologies (C# and VB.Net essential)
• Knowledge of API development and documentation (advantageous)
• Strong communicator with the ability to lead design conversations
• Able to work both independently and within a team
• Knowledge sharing and training mindset
• Reporting and administration capabilities
• IT data analysis and project oversight
• Understanding of quality, compliance, and accreditation standards
• Ability to contribute to business strategy and drive change leadership

• Eager self-learner, keeping up with modern development practices and technologies

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (advantageous)
• Strong .NET development experience (C#, VB.Net, .NET Core, .NET Framework)
• SQL Server experience (essential)
• Proven track record in development and design using Microsoft-based technologies
• Exposure to AWS (development and deployment) and Azure Power Platform (advantageous)
• Experience with reporting solutions (Power BI preferred)
• Deep understanding of:
• Software design and architecture
• Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Source code management
• Process-centric thinking with the ability to understand workflows, ownership, dependencies, and risks
• Keen ability to learn and adopt automation technologies (e.g., UiPath)
