You are a Quality Assurance Specialist in Non-Destructive Testing, ensuring the safety and integrity of offshore oil rigs and marine vessels. The position in based in Cape Town with some opportunity to travel to sites offshore.
To succeed in this role, you are qualified in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field, with professional certification in Non-Destructive Testing such as UT, MT, PT, RT, or ET. You bring 3-5 years of hands-on NDT experience, ideally within the oil and gas, marine, or heavy fabrication sectors. You have strong knowledge of NDT techniques, inspection technologies, and reporting software, along with a solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory frameworks like ASME, ISO, and API. Your communication, leadership, and analytical skills enable you to influence and guide both technical and non-technical teams with confidence.
