Native iOS Developer

About the position

Our client is looking for an experienced Native iOS Developer to take ownership of high-quality mobile features from concept through to production. This opportunity is suited to a technically strong developer who is passionate about Swift, modern iOS development, Clean Architecture and building maintainable, testable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from initial concept through to production.
• Build scalable and robust mobile solutions using modern iOS technologies.
• Develop clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Apply Clean Architecture principles and clearly communicate technical decisions.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Designers and QA teams.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical dependencies across teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Apply shift-left principles to proactively identify and prevent defects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical solutions.
• Operate effectively within an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 5-8 years' experience in native iOS development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Strong experience with The Composable Architecture (TCA).
• Practical understanding of Clean Architecture.
• Proven experience delivering features from concept through to production.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
• Strong ownership, initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Commitment to producing high-quality, testable and well-documented code.
• Experience with code reviews and continuous improvement practices.

Advantageous

• Experience with MapKit.
• Experience with CarPlay.
