We require over 10 years of commercial underwriting experience, complemented by Key Individual and ACII qualifications, to manage complex risks and drive strategic initiatives to lead this high-performing team.
If you're a visionary leader with a deep understanding of survey reports, multi-claimant actions, and reinsurance, we want your expertise to shape the complexity of this industry.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with exemption.
- FAIS compliant.
- Key Individual certification.
- ACII qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of commercial underwriting experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strategic thinking.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Underwrite complex risks and assist colleagues with risk mitigation recommendations.
- Handle endorsements, renewals, new business, and cancellations for an extensive network of brokers.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges swiftly and effectively.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing pressure.
- General understanding of reinsurance, enhancing industry comprehension.
