About the position
The National Sales Executive is responsible for leading a team of Key Account Managers, driving sales performance, and achieving revenue growth through business development. This role involves working closely with channel partners, supporting the team with complex deals, and ensuring sales targets are met. The National Sales Executive will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to expand market presence and enhance customer relationships.
RequirementsKey Outputs:
Sales Performance
- Meet or exceed sales targets as agreed with senior management.
- Build, lead, and manage the outbound sales team focused on SMEs and direct business acquisition.
- Lead the Key Account Managers to drive quarterly improvements on Channel Partner take-up as agreed with senior management.
Digital Onboarding
- Implement the digital marketplace to streamline the procurement of Herotel services by Channel Partners.
Channel Partner VAS
- Introduce and promote Herotel's VAS offerings (e.g., Voice, Managed Services) to Tier 2 and Tier 3 channel partners.
- Drive adoption and sales of VAS in line with targets as agreed with senior management.
Partnership with Retail
- Collaborate closely with the retail commercial team to ensure all B2B and SME leads are accurately identified and aligned with appropriate product solutions.
- Facilitate seamless handoff and conversion of leads into successful sales.
WORK EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in a channel or B2B sales environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience in business development, strategic planning, and account management.
- Experience in the telecommunications, IT, or technology sectors is preferred.
- Ability to manage complex negotiations and high-value sales deals.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
