About the position
Set the standards, lead the people and build facilities systems that work nationally. Is this you? You're an assertive, highly organised facilities leader who communicates with confidence and gets to the point. Detail matters, but so does the bigger operational picture. You're proactive, commercially astute and comfortable holding regional teams and suppliers accountable. Strong systems, accurate reporting and permanent solutions are how you operate. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) This newly created role puts you at the helm of facilities, technical infrastructure, security and operational readiness across a growing multi-site property portfolio. Rather than doing the maintenance yourself, you'll lead regional facilities teams and suppliers across CCTV, access control, security, maintenance, utilities, compliance and preventative maintenance. IT and networking require more direct technical involvement, including specifications, scope reviews and sign-off. Acting as 2IC on national operational matters, you'll work closely with senior leadership and Projects on new-site delivery. You'll enjoy the autonomy, scale and opportunity to build consistent national standards rather than simply react to problems. Where you'll be doing it You'll be joining a trailblazing organisation that is redefining the property landscape with its innovative serviced logistics parks. Recognised for its entrepreneurial culture and customer-first approach, the company creates spaces where businesses thrive. You'll be based in Cape Town CBD, with regular travel to business parks across Cape Town and Gauteng and being part of a collaborative, supportive team environment. What you'll need Strong multi-site facilities experience within commercial, industrial or logistics property is key, with Matric as a minimum. You'll need solid exposure to IT/networking, CCTV, access control, OHS, building infrastructure, supplier management and compliance. Project management exposure, particularly around new sites or infrastructure delivery, is important, alongside budgeting, CAPEX and the ability to read technical information. National experience is advantageous rather than essential. You'll need strong leadership experience and skills. Travel to Johannesburg, typically a few days per month and when operationally required, forms part of the role. What you'll get A basic salary and a possible performance-related bonus. Following successful probation, provident fund contributions are introduced. More importantly, this is an opportunity to step into a newly created national leadership role with genuine influence in a rapidly growing business.
