Motor Vehicle Damage Assessor

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Damage Assessor o join our client’s team in Kokstad, KwaZulu
 
Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Experience assessing accident- damaged vehicles
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repairs, panel beating and estimating
• Ability to determine repair vs replacement requirements
• Experience with quotations, damage reports and insurance claims
• VDQ (Vehicle Damage Quantifier advantages
• Good computer skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Clear criminal record
• Excellent attention to details & communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess damaged vehicles
• Determine extent of vehicle damage
• Assess repair & replacement requirements
• Review & evaluate repair quotations
• Prepare accurate damage/ assessment reports
• liaise with panel beaters, workshops, insurers and clients
• Ensure repairs are technically and financially justified
• Identify potential total- loss/ write off vehicles where applicable
