About the position
North Coast - Lead operations and showcase your mixology skills at an upmarket cocktail destination. A hands-on opportunity combining bar management with creative drink execution.
Our client operates within the high-end hospitality industry, offering a refined cocktail and dining experience in a premium location. The establishment is known for its curated ambiance, quality service, and innovative beverage offerings.
This dual-role position involves overseeing daily bar operations while actively contributing to cocktail preparation and service. The primary focus is on management, with mixology expertise being a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operational flow, maintain service standards, and lead a team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations, including stock control, staff management, and service protocols
- Lead the bar team through active supervision and professional engagement with guests
- Support and train staff in cocktail preparation and service quality
- Manage shift scheduling and coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback to ensure satisfaction
- Implement procedures to optimize efficiency and service delivery
- Adapt to seasonal and event-driven operational demands
- Contribute to menu development and drink innovation

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a bar setting with cocktail preparation exposure
- Prior managerial or supervisory experience in hospitality
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
Remuneration:
R10 000 – R15 000 monthly (Highly dependent on experience)
