About the position

A Mining house based in the Gauteng region is looking for a Sectional Surveyor

Duties:


  • Actively participate in, and lead interventions aimed at contributing to a culture of Zero Harm by adhering to and ensuring compliance with specified legislation, SHE policies and procedures and, operational standards, instructions and governance requirements
  • Actively engage in and demonstrate Visible Felt Leadership aligned to operational SHE standards, operational campaigns and instructions

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • National Diploma or Degree in Mining Survey or Mineral Resource Management or related discipline
  • Professional membership with SAGC and/or IMSSA
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Mine surveying with at least 3 years in a Senior Surveying position
  • Proficiency in CAD Software (i.e. Mine Cad, MineRP CAD, Autodesk, Microstation)
  • Experience in Point Cloud processing Software (i.e., Cyclone 3DR, Infinity, Trimble Realworks, Leica Infinity etc)
