About the position
The ideal candidate will need to have good communication skills, at least 5 years relevant experience in SCADA and PLC control systems as well as field control instrumentation, must have a code B drivers license, and have the ability to actively promote a positive working environment and a sense of belonging among all staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCE:
Must have a minimum of 10 years proven working experience as a Millwright artisan.
Must be a Certified Trade Test as Millwright (RED SEAL).
Must have a minimum of Grade 12 or NQF Level 3 Qualification.
MUST HAVE a wireman’s license
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be medically fit to work on industrial and mining site
Must have the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Must be prepared to work shifts, do standby duties, callouts, and work overtime as per the role requirements
Computer literate (MS Office).
Organisation skills
