Millwright Supervisor

Area: Modimole (Nylstroom), Limpopo

Salary: R32000 p/m (negotiable)

Overview: To ensure that production machinery is running safely, reliably, and efficiently with responsibilities for installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment used in manufacturing environment.
Duties:
Maintenance and installation of the following:

• Mechanical systems include crushers, mixers, extruders, alignment and lubrication.
• Electrical systems include Motors, VFD's / VSD's, sensors, panels and basic PLC fault-finding
• Safety compliance including LOTO, inspections and safe working areas and conditions
• Maintenance operations include Preventive maintenance, breakdown response, root-cause analysis
• Documentation which includes Job cards, maintenance logs, equipment history
• People management, overseeing 20 operators, junior artisans and workshop assistants

Requirements:

• Matric certificate required
• Relevant trade qualifications will be an advantage (Millwright / Fitter / Electrician)
• Knowledge and experience of heavy-duty equipment
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Experience working with electronics desirable
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
