About the position
Are you a qualified Millwright with a Red Seal Certification based in Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng, looking for a challenging role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Become a key member of a leading client’s maintenance team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment and machinery
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ensure minimal downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job cards and reports
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize plant performance
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and machine upgrades
What We’re Looking For:- Red Seal Certification (essential)
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in mechanical fitting or millwright trade
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in noisy, dusty, hot/cold environments, confined spaces, or at heights
- Good communication and teamwork skills
